1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BillZen, an online invoicing service operated by Nikola Jevtić ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using BillZen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description
BillZen is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that allows you to: - Create and manage invoices - Track payments - Manage client information - Generate reports - Send invoices via email
3. Eligibility
To use BillZen, you must: - Be at least 18 years old - Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts - Provide accurate registration information - Use the service for lawful business purposes
4. Account Registration
4.1 Account Creation
You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4.2 Account Security
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4.3 One Account Per User
Each account is for a single user or business entity. Sharing login credentials is prohibited.
5. Subscription Plans & Pricing
5.1 Plans
We offer the following subscription plans:

5.2 Free Trial
New users receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. After the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the service.
5.3 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or yearly)
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe
- Prices are in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes
5.4 Price Changes
We may change prices with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
6. Refund Policy
6.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with BillZen, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment.
6.2 How to Request a Refund
Email us at contact@billzen.app with your account email and reason for the refund.
6.3 After 14 Days
After the 14-day period, refunds are not available. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
6.4 Exceptions
Refunds are not available for: - Accounts terminated for Terms violations - Chargebacks or payment disputes
7. Cancellation
7.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
7.2 Effect of Cancellation
- You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after expiration
- After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted
7.3 Reactivation
You may reactivate your subscription at any time by subscribing again.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use BillZen to: - Violate any laws or regulations - Create fraudulent invoices - Infringe on intellectual property rights - Transmit malware or harmful code - Attempt to access other users' accounts - Abuse or overload our systems - Harass or harm others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Your Data & Content
9.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to BillZen (invoices, client information, etc.).
9.2 License to Us
You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service.
9.3 Data Export
You may export your data at any time in standard formats (PDF, Excel).
9.4 Data Protection
Your data is protected according to our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Property
BillZen, including its logo, design, code, and features, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of BillZen without written permission.
10.2 Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback, we may use it without compensation or attribution.
11. Service Availability
11.1 Uptime
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be unavailable for: - Scheduled maintenance (with notice) - Emergency maintenance - Circumstances beyond our control
11.2 No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of BillZen is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12.2 Exclusions
We are NOT liable for: - Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages - Lost profits or business opportunities - Data loss (you are responsible for backups) - Third-party actions or services - Force majeure events
12.3 Essential Services
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: - Your use of the service - Your violation of these Terms - Your violation of any third-party rights
14. Termination
14.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and requesting account deletion.
14.2 By Us
We may terminate or suspend your account if you: - Violate these Terms - Fail to pay after multiple reminders - Engage in fraudulent activity - Become insolvent
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination: - Your access to the service ends immediately - Your data will be retained for 30 days, then deleted - You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance.
Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
16.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Valencia, Spain.
16.3 Amicable Resolution
Before initiating legal action, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute amicably for at least 30 days.
17. General Provisions
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
17.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
17.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor.
